Cadillac CUE Touchscreen is Unresponsive

Cadillac CUE

There are several issues that have recently happened to my Cadillac CUE touchscreen. Aside from it looking like it’s been in a fire and melting it is also unresponsive.

However, I have found one spot on the touchscreen that will actual work for me if I touch it in the right place.

  • If I slowly move my finger over the clock in the upper right hand corner I can get the CUE to show the whole screen as a clock as if it were back to normal.

Granted this may or may not work for your Cadillac CUE it depends upon how gone your system is when it comes to being responsive to the touch. I know mine is so gone that I can’t change any of the climate controls on the CUE.

Has anyone else been able to get their non-responsive CUE screen to work by touching it in a certain area? If you have please feel free to leave a comment below to let others know. Thanks!

  1. The Cadillac cue system is terrible and it shouldn’t cost the consumer a dime to fix it. The level of customer service that GM provides is awful. This type of disloyalty is what drives faithful buyers to Lexus and other brands. Cadillac should have a voluntary recall for such a bad product, and to restore “good faith” in their products.

    1. Agree with you. Several places on our screen are non responsive – can’t change to certain radio stations, can’t push “GO” on navigation, climate control settings can’t be revised. They said repair starts at $1200. No more Cadillacs unless they do a “fix” of some kind.

  2. U pay all this money for this car and this cue system is horriable.I agree they should have a recall.
