How to Reset the Cadillac CTS Theft System

The video above provides some simple steps on how to reset or disable the theft system on your Cadillac CTS. Here is a theft deterrent module that can replace the current on your Cadillac CTS if you need to replace it.

Here are some directions if the video above doesn’t help:

  1. Shut down the car.
  2. Remove the “theft” fuse.
  3. Turn on the car (without the “theft” fuse in place).
  4. After five seconds the the car off.
  5. Put the “theft” fuse back in its place then turn the car back on.
(the “theft” fuse this time, not the “ECM” fuse).

If this has worked for you or if you know of another way to make this work then feel free to leave a comment below.
