The video above provides some simple steps on how to reset or disable the theft system on your Cadillac CTS. Here is a theft deterrent module that can replace the current on your Cadillac CTS if you need to replace it.
Here are some directions if the video above doesn’t help:
- Shut down the car.
- Remove the “theft” fuse.
- Turn on the car (without the “theft” fuse in place).
- After five seconds the the car off.
- Put the “theft” fuse back in its place then turn the car back on.
(the “theft” fuse this time, not the “ECM” fuse).
