How to Reset Your Cadillac’s Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

If your tire pressure light stays on even after inflating your tires, you may need to reset the TPMS.

Steps to follow below:

1. Check each tire with a gauge – Make sure all are inflated to the correct PSI (found in the driver’s door jamb).
2. Start the ignition without starting the engine – Press the start button without your foot on the brake.
3. Navigate to TPMS reset in the vehicle menu – Usually under “Vehicle Settings” or “Tire Pressure.”
4. Hold the reset button until the light blinks twice – Then drive at least 20 minutes to allow the system to recalibrate.
